Success Stories

  • One of Sarah’s many gifts is the way she seamlessly blends nurturing support with bold, no-nonsense advice. She leads women to go inward, but also to translate what they find inside into action that changes the world for the better. I am so grateful to know her and to have benefitted from her brilliance.

  • Sarah helped me to really find what was making me unhappy beyond the weight. I have tried so many things and this is the first time I feel like I am doing the real work.

What I found was me – the real me – not the me with an extra thirty pounds but the me that has been dying to break out at any weight.

As a result I am ready to take bigger risks, have connected with my partner in a way we haven’t in years, and I’m actually starting to enjoy my life more than what I thought it would be like at a size 2!

  • “Sarah is changing the way women think about their bodies. She is bright, savvy, caring and committed- your perfect champion for having a life and body you adore.”

  • “Sarah takes the “miserable” out of weight loss and makes it a hip, fun, and sexy experience so her clients actually keep it off too. She’s pure magic."

  • Get ready to have your life transformed!

Sarah's soulful practical direction is exactly what this world needs more of. LMWL was the catalyst to me going after what I truly wanted in my life. I'm no longer hiding and I'm definitely not waiting for my life to start.

Participating in LMWL was one of the best decisions that I have ever made, I promise you won't regret it.

  • I have been a part of so many "programs" in my life and they never worked for me. I would usually bail on them mid-way--either out of boredom or my inability to stick to their rigid rules. I'm a girl who needs her freedom and I always felt very constrained by other programs. Before Live More Weigh Less, I didn't feel like myself. I know that the image I presented to the world was not the person I was deep inside. And I often felt like I was having "out ofbody experiences." Now, I feel present! I feel real! I feel like I'm returning to myself! I feel like I'm getting my glow back!

Live More Weigh Less is an absolutely beautiful experience! This program has been completely life changing for me!

  • My relationship with my body was AWFUL, my relationship with food was pretty bad and I was having zero fun. I wanted to overcome all of that, and learn how to live a fun, relaxed, joyful life. Thanks to LMWL, I find myself being way calmer and way less stressed about other people's problems, specifically my family's issues. I find myself listening to my own voice way more. I also love my body the way she is now, which I never thought possible. I tell my body I love her all of the time. I don't cringe when I look in the mirror anymore. I think the biggest change for me was getting a new job. I don't think I could have done it without this program. I got a job at my dream company, with a large technology company, and I did it because I met someone through this program who works there, and was able to help me. I would have never, ever had the confidence to reach out to her and ask for help before this program. I thought I could do it all alone, and obviously that was not getting me anywhere. But even beyond having someone from LMWL help me, I was confident in the interviews, and was just myself, and believed that if it was meant to be, it will be. And it happened! This program is insanely different from other programs because it's all about how you want to feel. It's so much more feminine and fun, and way more about feeling incredible in your own skin, which I think is the way every program centered around women needs to be. It has changed the way I look at myself. I am kinder to myself, and in return, I am kinder to those around me. I have way more fun, I dance so much, I have found a new confidence in myself, I stand up straighter, I laugh more, I just feel so great being me. But I think the best thing is that I've really just learned how to love myself and love my body. The program is incredible as is connecting with this network of women. Sarah really has a lot of wisdom and is just so funny and down to earth and real, which is so refreshing.

  • “I adore Sarah, and I have since the moment I met her. She embodies a spirit of intense dedication and generosity – a woman who is the epitomy of a sexy wife, bestest friend and self-care maven. Sarah has truly cracked the code to having it all, through giving deeply to herself and the people in her world. Most of us give until there’s nothing left. Sarah teaches us to give in a way that fuels our sense of freedom, fun and feeling fabulous!”

  • “Working with Sarah Jenks is like a breathe of fresh air. Her kind, fierce, compassionate and energetic spirit is one in a million and something that will have you thinking of every word she said in between sessions with her. She’s coached me through issues I have dealt with my entire life and I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to work with her because my life is truly blessed thanks to our work together.”

  • I discovered Sarah at the lowest time of my life. I felt unbelievably unhappy with my body and my sense of self-love was nonexistent. When joining LMWL, I thought I had signed up for a weight loss program but really it was so much more than I could have ever imagined. During the program I discovered that exploring my weight issue was a gateway to discovering who I was/am as a person. I found out that being overweight was just a symptom of me being unhappy in so many other areas of my life. I discovered that being overweight wasn’t the “problem” - being overweight was how I was coping with my problems. Yes, that may seem obvious to some people. But for me it was REVOLUTIONARY. It was so freeing to feel an enormous weight lifted off my shoulders. How amazing to finally understand that if I allowed myself to be happy, my weight and food would no longer be my obsession and that what I loved could become my obsession! What?! Yes, its true. How simple and beautiful.

Sarah is a genius coach. One of the most incredible “aha” moments I had in LMWL was when she asked, “What would it look like if you took impeccable care of yourself?” I had never even considered that an option before. I always believed it was most important and much more noble take care of everyone else and let it be ok to never be my best self. After LMWL, I also came to the monumental discovery that my job made me feel like shit. I mean, it should have been pretty obvious considering that I was reaching up into my cubicle cabinet for more chips more often than I was checking my e-mails, but I didn’t beat myself up for not realizing it before. Within about 3 months realizing this, I quit my job as a corporate paralegal and joined my parents to help launch their relationship coaching business as their creative director. Now I get to work in the CUTEST home office and work hours that are much more conducive to my natural schedule. When I am doing this work and tapping into my creative energy every single day, not only do I not obsess about food, but I often have to remind myself to get up and eat lunch! I can easily say that I am living my dream. None of this would have ever been possible before taking Sarah’s program. I cannot thank her enough for sharing her work with the world and making it her mission to educate women about how they are so much more than their weight. I encourage everyone to take this program. It is truly life changing!

  • The LMWL program completely resonated with me. I have/had tried a lot of things and knew that I was an emotional eater, no one had ever help me figure out why and how to change it without brute-force will power and that wasn't working. I participated in Sarah’s 28-day challenge and loved it. I knew the LMWL program was a fit. The program has helped me stop mindlessly eating. I now have one night a week that my husband is responsible for the kids so I can go out with friends or have a night to myself. I no longer wear yoga pants everywhere I hired a stylist and have a new wardrobe including new undies and ditching the cotton granny-panties. I am wearing some makeup everyday. I am having sex with my husband! I am yelling at my children less. I am listening to my body. I am seeking fewer outside opinions on things that I am listening to myself about. I am feeling slightly sexy. I THREW OUT my scale and I had no idea how often I weighed myself or how that number affected me until it was gone. I am truly a happier and healthier person because of LMWL. My whole family is benefitting from my experience. I am so grateful to have found this program and the women in it.

  • I loved the holistic approach of Live More Weigh Less and it was the first time I've done anything like this! The program provides actionable steps to make profound changes in your life in a safe, supportive environment. It is worth the investment because you have tools you can take with you forever. I’ve learned to be more calm and centered, and I have a clear understanding of what is important to me, my priorities, and how to take better care of myself. My clothes are looser, but more importantly I feel more energetic and confident. I was able to adjust my work schedule to work from home when I want, which has opened doors to being able to take care of myself better. THANK YOU! I loved the program and it has made such an impact in my life.

  • Sarah is a rare combination of deep wisdom, sight, and grounded know how. She has an uncanny and powerful ability to see what you are being called to do in the world and then stating it to you in frank direct and totally empowering way. She has been a catalyst for powerful decisions that I have made in my own life. Listen to her!!

  • “Sarah Jenks is a shining star in her industry. Her authenticity bleeds through every blog post, newsletter, coaching session and lecture. This woman walks her talk and is a power of example for us all.”

  • I've had a lifelong weight journey, from being really skinny to really heavy, because of meds, and then finally to claiming my life and body back and releasing 80lbs. Even though I'd dropped the weight I saw myself as heavier than I was and I struggled with my emotional relationship with my body. LMWL came at a perfect time. I'd just moved to Colorado (a lifelong dream) and was ready to end the constant inner struggle with my body. At the time I'd just switched from a Body Confidence Coach to an Empowerment Photographer but inside I felt like how can I help other women do this work when I'm still struggling with it.

LMWL helped me return to who I am at the core, it helped me find joy in moving my body, it helped me create boundaries with my family that were long overdue. I now am able to really listen to my body, whether it's the food she wants or type of movement she needs, and then am able to honor her. I'm also a much better photographer because I am able to stand in my power as I help my clients work through their body struggles and help them feel amazing in their skin in front of the camera. I'm a more sensual and feminine wife to my husband, and I'm a better daughter because I'm no longer acting as the nurturer to my mom.

  • After a almost a lifetime of being self-conscious about how my body was viewed by society, I have finally taken the leap to do my fashion blog, and not be held back. I decided to embrace my size and I also encourage my followers to do the same. I am trying to define myself on my own terms, not society’s, and not feel self-conscious about being photographed, which is what had held me back from moving forward with my blog. However, I now feel so comfortable in my skin and this new confidence has allowed me to have more fun and enjoy my photo shoots.LMWL has helped relieve this fear, which I feel has also helped me in my career as a wardrobe & personal stylist. Conquering my fear has enabled me to have the understanding of being on both sides of the camera, which creates an advantage that I can now use when approaching each new project.

I also feel a lot more confident in my skin. I always had a “say yes” mentality in my career but not in my personal life. This program has helped me make life more of an adventure – something I had wanted to do when I had moved across the country to LA this spring. I feel my life is more full and by doing this I have felt more settled in my body.

I finally feel like the woman I’ve always imagined wanting to be, even if it’s not at 140lbs – which I wouldn’t even know if I got to that weight because I have given up my scale.

I feel I am now living my life truthfully and LMWL has been the ending to my journey of self-discovery I’ve been on since graduating graduate school.

  • “She’s a warm, engaging, and loving coach, and her style makes you want to be her best friend and hang out.. with a glass of wine and lots of laughs. Sarah’s perceptive in an amazingly intuitive way, and she generously shares her own stories of finding her own healthy, gorgeous weight, and the love of her life to share it with.”

  • Before working with Sarah I felt disgusted that I had ‘let myself go’. I felt frumpy and no longer as attractive as I used to be.Now I feel better about my body and I can appreciate it more. I’m not in the shape I once was but I’ve stopped telling myself hateful things. I also love the healthy way of eating that Sarah has taught us.Outside weight and food my life has changed greatly. I quit my dead end jobs to persure my dream career. It’s a big risk but I’m excited about what it means for my business. I’m so grateful for Sarah’s support, advice and inspiration!I had lots of ‘a-ha’ moments when learning about feminine energy. What’s more, it really works! I went out-of-town for the weekend a couple of weeks ago, normally my boyfriend would use that as an excuse to live like a bachelor again, but when I came home, he had cleaned the house and done all the dirty dishes in the sink, which he usually leaves for me to do. He has also been really excited about our new way of eating and bought a wok so he could cook healthy stir fry meals. Yes, he has volunteered to cook us dinner! I feel like he has stepped up to the plate and has begun acting like a man. He is not a boy that I have to take care of. Thank you Sarah, for helping me realize that even small efforts can have big results!

To anyone considering working with Sarah, you are worth investing in yourself. There is no need to feel guilty about spending the money. The information that you will learn and the changes that you will make because of it are so worth the investment!

  • In the year and a half leading up to Live More Weigh Less I was struggling with my weight, body image, and self-esteem. I had my heart broken when a relationship ended and turned to food as a way to numb the pain. While I wanted to get out and start dating again, I hadn’t.Through LMWL, I was able to identify my fears and figure out exactly what has been holding me back in all aspects of my life–from eating to dating to my career. I stopped weighing myself and started focusing more on bringing pleasure into my life. Since completing the program, I have a better relationship with my body and am much more present in my life, especially when I’m eating–which means I’m eating less and healthier.

I’m much happier and more confident. I feel like I’m ready to take on anything!

I had been struggling with body image and body confidence; I have always felt like there was more to maintaining a healthy weight than dieting and I knew that dieting was a lot of work without permanent benefits, so I enrolled in Live More Weigh Less. I’m sure you have heard the saying, “You need to love yourself or no one else will,” well Sarah gives you the actual steps to accomplish that. Since the program I feel more confident and know I am equipped to make better decisions about how to live life to the fullest and feel good about myself. I now realize that I am enough the way I am and no longer talking negatively to my body.

  • When I signed up for Live More Weigh Less, I was totally frustrated with losing weight and gaining it right back again. It wasn’t until I was in the program that I realized the reason why I was stuck… I was overeating because I didn’t like how I spent most of my time. I needed a career and life shift—big time.

So, I started dreaming big—and redesigning my career. I wanted to be creative, have freedom to travel, and do work that helps people.
I launched GoldFeather Copywriting as my solopreneur business. I’m a communications and copywriting expert, and I work with health, wellness and personal development brands and publishers to help more people through clear, effective online marketing.

Besides doing something I love that helps others, I love that I designed my business so that I can work from anywhere…so last year, I spent 4 months working and traveling through Southeast Asia with my husband.

We started with a month of surfing, snorkeling, and spice markets in Bali… to a few weeks in the beach vacation paradise of Phuket, Thailand… to 6 weeks through cosmopolitan cities and night markets, ancient rainforest jungles, and beaches in Malaysia… ending up with 3 weeks through Cambodia, to see the mystical temples at Angkor Wat. Now, we’ve relocated to Austin from Brooklyn. We’re loving our new laid-back lifestyle, and planning our next adventure.

If I had waited on the weight, I would probably still be back at my 9-to-5 life as an armchair traveler, just dreaming about what could be some day. The truth is, someday is right now. That’s what Live More Weigh Less is all about.

  • I've known for many years that my food issues were emotional but I didn't know how to take action that worked so I could make real changes. I also had relationship blahs & wanted more confidence so I could bring a better self to the relationship. I was really drawn to how fun and hip and grounded the energy of the LMWL program was; not tacky, militant or woo woo. LMWL is life changing, empowering and an actually fun way to start creating the life you want RIGHT NOW instead of waiting to be thin. My relationship with myself has changed a lot; I am not as hard on myself and I'm more tuned in to my body's wants, needs & desires. My relationship to food has also changed soooo much! I have a way better understanding of what emotional eating is and why I do it and I know the work is my responsibility. Even when I have moments of emotional eating, I'm pretty aware that it's going on and get back to balance quicker. I’m pretty sure I've lost about 15lbs so far, though I'm no longer a slave to my scale so I can't say exactly, but I love the way my clothes fit! I’m definitely eating less. I'm way more confident & comfortable in my own skin, and getting better at standing up for myself & asking for what I want and need and having a lot more fun. I have more energy and am cooking more again! The whole idea of having fun was totally key and totally different than anything I've done before. The LMWL program is about all-around life, not just food. Other programs focus on one aspect, which you can control or clamp down on for a while, but when the other life areas aren't addressed, the issues in those areas surface eventually and bite you in the ass! My message to women considering the program is this - there is never going to be a better or easier time to shift how you live your life. Why prolong the time you are spending unhappy, stuck and frustrated? Thank you for creating such a great program!

  • I have been through the program before and had a good relationship with food already. However, I knew I could be doing more mentally regarding my self image and Sarah has really helped put me up over the top in a positive manner that I will carry with me for the rest of my life I have lost weight and feel so much happier with my body. Sarah’s coaching is spot on and really personal. I am hooked and can not wait for the next round. I truly appreciate being able to join in as on going member.

  • We talked about men, we talked about vegetables, we talked about work, we talked about spirituality. I began to learn that everything was connected–that if I was stressed out by job-hunting, I would eat too much, and if I overate, I would be mean to my boyfriend.

    KAT R.

  • I was tired of hating such a big part of myself. I'd done enough traditional dieting to know that it was not working for me. I felt drawn to the LMWL program, but I was hesitant about the money. As a mostly stay-at-home-mom, it was a BIG stretch to spend that much on myself. Honestly though, I was giddy after finally deciding to go for it. It felt amazing to make that investment in myself. My husband thought it was worth it before the class even started as I glowed with enthusiasm. Since LMWL,I have felt a softening, a loosening, a relief of pressure. I have been taking better care of myself. I am making an effort to dress in more than my Mommy uniform every day and have added some fun pieces to my wardrobe to help with that. I am wearing makeup regularly. I am meditating more regularly. I am paying attention to my cravings in a very different way. I am more compassionate with myself. I'm making myself more of a priority and I am trying to include more fun. I have decluttered and redecorated to make my home feel better. I'm actively keeping up with it to keep the calm in myself. I bought more house plants and am bringing flowers in regularly. I am happier and feeling a lot of excitement for even more growth. I've truly loved LMWL. Thank you so much!!!

  • I felt like something was missing in my life, career, relationship, friendships & body image. As I became unhappy with my weight, I also became more critical of myself & others. This created a cycle of unhappiness that I NEEDED to break. When I received Sarah’s message of living life now I felt like someone threw me a lifeline. Since completing the program I’ve cleaned out my closet, jewelry box, shoes, accessories and now am more grateful for what I own and able put together outfits that are fun and flattering. I've paid attention to my body's hunger cues and have engaged in more mindful eating. I have been more empathic and caring in my relationships with my husband, kids & friends, which has resulted in a more loving response from them as well. I joined a Pilates class which helps with toning & posture. I’ve lost a few pounds, and I have faith I’ll lose more because I'm in it for the long haul. I think it's a crime that women feel unhappy or trapped in a dead-end life because they aren't "perfect." If they only take one or two of Sarah’s messages to heart, they'll have the opportunity to feel better and more empowered. My message to people considering taking the program is… don't feel stuck in a less-than life, you deserve to be happy!

  • I was worried about spending the money (on the program) and then not losing weight which would feel like failing. I also was traveling a lot so didn't know if I could commit to the time schedule needed for success. I was not having any fun (and) I was over eating to meet emotional needs. (LMWL taught me to) enjoy life so much more than I have in years. I still emotionally eat, but not all the time. I have re-labelled food so that there isn't a list of bad vs. good but what feels better for my body. I see changes in the future to make my career better. I rarely leave the house now without make up. I spend time doing my hair even if I am not going anywhere. I am more comfortable with eating alone. I love having fun because this was truly lacking (in my life). Sarah’s 28-day challenge was a great jumpstart to the program. I think too many of us women have the pressure of looking a certain way etc. I loved how every time I signed on the page said "Hello beautiful" and I really felt like Sarah believed I am beautiful. (My recommendation to those who have signed up already is to) do the things that are suggested until they become 'natural' and take the time to do the journal.. (And to those who are considering the investment,) it is so worth the cost. Thank you thank you thank you!

  • LMWL changed my entire outlook on life. It has been an incredibly positive influence for me. I find that the community I've met through LMWL is one of the biggest reasons why.

Negative Self Talk started for me, when I was young. Maybe 7 or 8. I identified as the "weird" girl because that how everyone described me. I saw myself as huge, fat, ugly, disgusting, for a giant chunk of my life. I spent most of my adolescent and teens staying away from mirrors, dressing in shapeless, dark clothes, making goofy faces in photos. All of it was to hide. I was convinces I was a house and unworthy of better treatment. I would call myself names. I would beat myself up constantly. For anything from how someone spoke to me to my hair being frizzy. I cut myself from age 10 until age 20 because I didn't want to seem emotional, to stop myself from crying. I pulled my hair for 2 years when I attempted to stop cutting. At 20, I swapped to excessive drinking for about 5 years. Then I woke up. At 25 it suddenly dawned on me that I was an adult and I was allowed to be emotional. It wasn't until I was about 30 that I finally became comfortable with that. Through a lot of soul searching, a lot of just being open, I realized what I had done to myself for so long was...well, be as mean as those people way back when had been. I remember the first time I listened to a LMWL module and Sarah talked about the way you speak to yourself and wanting to just scream at someone if they said that to your friend. Suddenly, I realized that even though I thought I was doing so much better, I was still bitching myself out if I went over my calories or missed a workout. When I learned to accept how I was feeling, to stop and breathe, to really just be me, I became the version of myself I always was in my dreams. I realize this is insanely long winded and I promise, I have the ability to be succinct but it felt better just answering this question organically. I feel like there are days, of course, when I have to apologize to myself more than others but I have come a long, long way from the girl who didn't look in the mirror and hid herself away.

  • LMWL has been a game changer for me, my relationship with my husband, my children, and just about all of the relationships in my life have dramatically shifted.Because of this program my confidence is so much higher. I wake up each morning and feel good about myself. I have not felt this way in years. I am kinder to myself, and appreciate what my body can do more than ever. I have had those deep conversations that needed to happen, both with myself and others in my life. I feel so much closer to my family.

This program has inspired me to take a huge risk, one that I would not have done before. I joined a Mastermind to finally put my business ideas into action and am enrolling at Bauman College to become a Nutrition Consultant. I NEVER would have done this before.

I have dropped a few sizes. I feel 100% better about myself and my body. I am happier. More content. More driven. I am taking big risks. I haven’t had a binge since I started LMWL. I recognize now my need for food means that I am feeling something else.
LMWL felt like it was created for me. When I watched the videos, I felt like Sarah was speaking to me directly. I immediately knew this program would work for me and it has far exceeded my expectations. I felt loved and taken care of throughout the entire program. I felt like all of the feelings that were triggered and came up throughout the program were completely validated. I was given the tools that I needed to be successful and finally get rid of this weight for good.

I just want to say that I am so grateful for this experience. I loved every minute and am feeling so much better in so many ways. I cannot thank you enough.

  • I haven't lost any weight, however, I have lost the negativity of my body. I used to be so mean to myself and care what others thought about my body...I still have moments from time to time, however, I realize how negative I am being and turn things around. The other day my bestie was being so mean to herself...I asked her, would you let me talk to you the way you are talking to yourself right now? It stopped her in her tracks...I love that this hasn't just helped me but, others, by the way I interact with them.

  • LMWL had me at the 10 day challenge! I was needing something more in my everyday life. My current circle of girlfriends and I were all on different paths and busy with graduations, summer fun and moving children to college locations. I felt lost and saw myself spinning in circles. I was craving adventure, fun, friendship, reassurance I wasn’t losing my mind and partners in crime. Personally, my biggest accomplishment was: for a few years now I've been creating image boards on Pinterest. Saving styles I felt I was too chunky for, not beautiful enough to wear at work and for fun, not sophisticated enough. I treated myself to a little shopping spree and subconsciously I found myself putting together outfits and styles I'd saved and seen on Pinterest. My girlfriends are all curious just how much weight I've lost this summer. It's not my weight - It's my Attitude and Confidence.

  • I have met beautiful women in this group and they have been such a comfort - just to know that other women are struggling in the exact specific ways that you are but also to be around women who are willing to give up dieting with you. So many women who are struggling like me want me to stay with them on the dieting cycle and that is not what I want so the community was so so comforting. I'm not sure if I lost any weight because I don't weigh myself. But I feel emotionally lighter. I am sleeping better. I am eating less snacks. I am so much happier and at peace.

This journey has been going on for me since I was 14. In 2015 I finally read and went through the exercises in Marianne William's book: A Course in Weight Loss: 21 Spiritual Lessons for Surrendering Your WEight Forever. That book changed my entire way of thinking about all of this and I started thinking about what it meant to give my weight over to God. Then I met my Nutritionist and we worked on eating without distractions and dressing better and having fun. And finally God put LMWL in my path and I knew it was the natural next step. LMWL took all of what i learned in 2015 to a much higher level. I went deep. I paid attention and I learned sooooo much! I feel enlightened and I feel lighter. I have a lighter step and I have a clearer mind because I know now what i need to focus on and as long as I work on that I know I will continue to move in the right direction. I'm not afraid of this journey anymore. I use to be afraid that I'd never finish and I’d never get it. But now I feel confident that I do get it and I can change and I also realize that I was right - it's never over - but it doesn't have to be a painful journey. It can be a blessed one.

The best lesson I got from LMWL is that my body's choice of gaining weight is a super power, a blessing, because it's my body's way of helping me and telling me that something in my life is off balance. For this I am eternally grateful to Sarah Jenks and to God for putting her in my path. LMWL is the best program EVER!!!

  • My focus has shifted off of the scale, I have not stepped on it, at ALL!! That's a major victory for me, I was obsessed with it and always looking to lose just a couple more pounds, but I don't care about that anymore, now I am about eating to fuel my body and trying to have fun and be present. That's a huge shift for me.

  • For the first time during emotional turmoil, I have not run to the pantry, or the fridge, or to those inner supermarket aisles that typically tempt me so. Rather I have reached out to my sons, and my dear ones and have asked for hugs, held their hands, requested a back rub or shoulder squeeze. Asked for them to simply sit near me and allow me to breathe, to cry to laugh, to ramble, to be. I have consistently fueled by body with the foods she is asking for, and feeling the strengths of those choices, I have continued to move my body daily, because it feels good and it's rooting me, and keeping nervous energy in check, I am insisting on ensuring there is fun in each day, because the laughter assures me. I've still got room for improvements on eating without distractions, but I'm totally celebrating my success and this program for giving me so many tools and loving humans.

  • I felt fat, tired and old before working with Sarah. I was overwhelmed with day-to-day stuff. I decided that I wanted to do something for myself.

After making some keys changes like taking a lunch break and letting go of control in many areas of my life, my body feels lighter, both in weight and in mind. My face is slimmer! I’m still a little overweight, but I’m not so worried about it. I like my body a lot more now.

And so many other things have changed beyond my body. I have realized that I do not have to be in control of every situation; I’m okay with that! I used to get so frustrated that people around me weren’t doing what I thought they should do.

My fiancé and I don’t fight nearly as much. I have less anxiety overall. I am much happier. I really enjoy food; I savor it and eat really good shit. I don’t get mad at my body for not fitting into clothes; I just find clothes that fit. I’m not jealous of beautiful, happy women anymore; I feel like one!

Thinking of working with Sarah? I would say, do it! Sarah is so awesome! She knows what she’s talking about because she has lived it and has made transformations herself. She is real and easy to relate to. You feel like you have a friend on your side. One who wants the best for you.

There’s no pressure to be perfect.

  • The best part of working with Sarah is that there’s is no shame at all because she has been there and is a real live example of how it works. Knowing that she is in my corner and is exclusively dedicated to me getting freedom around this in a completely new way than ever before is so fresh, fun and exciting.

Sarah is my personal investigator who is on the journey with me to really learn WHY I’ve been struggling for sooooo many years. Rather than wallowing in the past, it’s an adventure in detective work, learning, healing, peacemaking, and growth for a solid change and real transformation of my relationship with food, myself, my body and MY LIFE!!!!

Sarah is partnering with me on creating my personal road map and a real life GPS. She has helped me to navigate what to eat, how to enjoy eating again and what to do in a million situations that have stopped me in the past.

I now feel relaxed and I have realised that losing weight can be a fun and easy process. I don’t have to ‘be good’ or ‘be bad’. I get to choose and we work it out together. I like muffins, cookies, bread, yogurt… and I can have it all! I just need to make it special and super quality.

Each breakthrough uncovers more layers and allows me to shine even brighter. It’s not a fad; I’m making friends with the new me and not a temporary version of me that will flip-flop as soon as our work is done and settling into a grounded, loving, hot and fabulous me!

Sarah Jenks is Geneen Roth meets Mama Gena, and her genius is unlocking the code to truly embracing your body by bringing huge amounts of play, love and femininity into your life.

  • Before I started working with Sarah, I felt lousy about my body. I thought there was nothing I could do to change it and that I was just going to be fat forever. When I found Sarah’s website I thought wow, finally someone who understands and doesn’t want to put me on less calories, exercise regime. I knew I had to sign up! Although I was a bit worried about the price I overcame that fear by realizing that it is an investment in the rest of my life.I’ve lost 12 pounds, 21 inches all over my body. HOW FREAKING AWESOME IS THAT?!

However, the best part is when I look in the mirror I noticed I have a slimmer face and my pants don’t feel tight anymore!!
But beyond weight, since working with Sarah, my entire life has changed. I’m less stressed, I started doing more for myself and learning more about myself and my femininity. I am eating healthier and loving it, but I also still enjoy sweets and wine at the same time. Sarah taught us how to deal with our stress, and releasing all that has had huge effects on my weight loss weight loss. I changed my schedule around so I could focus on being a student for now and only working part time. It was made my life more fulfilling.

My fiance and I totally have a deeper connection. He says he feels like I’ve been more open with him then I’ve ever been during the 4 years we’ve been dating. Booty camp has deepened our relationship, made me into the woman I was on the inside on the outside, and overall made me feel more alive! Booty camp was the best investment I’ve ever made! It will help me in all aspects of life! If you’re thinking about working with Sarah, DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    You won’t regret it!!!

  • {smile} Oh the list.. it could go on and on. The changes I’ve seen in myself are
    1) I don’t seek other’s approval as much. I go within for answers to my questions about my life.
    2) I am more confident in being around people and feeling like I am good enough for them.
    3) I have really slowed down and taken the time to enjoy everything I am doing.
    4) I am making myself a priority in my life and really stepping into creating my own life, not waiting for someone else to do it for me.I am so much more gentle with my body. The biggest thing I have seen is that I have befriended my body and realized that it has been trying to help me all along.I haven’t weighed myself, but my clothes feel looser. People have complimented me that I look great, so I definitely can’t complain.

Finally food isn’t ruling my life.

I was feeling a big void in my life and could not figure out what it was. During the career module, I realized that I didn’t want a career and that I could be happy staying home and taking care of my home and kids. That was a big breakthrough for me because I often thought that the void was some work thing I needed to do that I wasn’t. Then during the Spirit Module I was feeling so down and talked to Sarah about my purpose in life. I was always seeking some ”big” thing and waiting for it. She asked what I wanted in life. I told her to feel peaceful and fulfilled. She said, “Well, there is your purpose. To feel peaceful and fulfilled in everything you do, it doesn’t really matter what you do.” I couldn’t believe it was so simple, but it completely 100% shifted my whole life. I realized there wasn’t a prize at the end of our life (that I know about anyway) so I didn’t have to try so hard to be perfect. There wasn’t a set goal. I couldn’t believe it. I just got to experience and live my life seeking peace and fulfillment and have fun along the way, and my body was this perfect vehicle to let me do that!

This is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Ever.

  • "Before enrolling in Live More Weigh Less, I was really struggling in knowing the best way to take care of my body. I was binge eating and had my weight was fluctuating constantly. I knew that the conventional way of ""taking care of yourself"" ( diets, intense workouts) wasn't working for me, but I didn't know what would. I had struggled with emotional eating and binge eating for most of my life and felt like LMWL was my attempt to finally figure it out.

The most significant change I've seen since enrolling in the program is about learning the importance of taking action. I get stuck in my head a lot and I appreciate the LMWL is about doing, not more theory It's not always easy, but I've realized the importance of taking action to get what I want. I get clear and then creative on how I can get what I want now. I've learned to trust my body and stop the body-jail spiral much faster.

Live More Weigh Less always circles back to what's happening in your life that's causing your overeating/binge eating and focuses on that rather than the food itself. I like that it focuses on your life instead of making it feel like you are the problem. It teaches you to check in with your life before going on another diet or changing your food. Pleasure and fun is the point and I love that. I also really loved that Sarah made spirituality fun and creative!

Sarah makes me take action- that's my favorite part about her. She knows the philosophy and emotional part but always follows up with practical. She helped me figure out my dream career, planning my 3 year visions and the specific steps I could do to get started TODAY. She helped me create a relationship with my body through daily action which was much more helpful than trying to will or think myself into change.

Live More Weigh Less is a different way to relate to your body, food and life. It's the only thing that I've felt that's worked for me long-term and is sustainable. The struggle with your body is what you THINK is blocking you from what you want- love, a great career, a satisfying life. So when you take care of the issue by focusing on your life, everything changes- including your body. It doesn't have to be this way. It doesn't have to always be so hard or always being disastified with what you see in the mirror. It can change and does change when you actually learn about building a relationship to your body and self. It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle that you can sustain because it's about YOU- your body, your needs and living your life for you. I don't invest in coaching programs left and right and completely understand the hesitation on spending on ANOTHER program or product with no guarantee. The difference is that this is about your life. It's not more opinions or advice that might not work. It's a journey with tools to help you in every stage of your body. I believe in only spending on the essentials. LMWL is that. It's worth it because you are worth it. "

  • Before working with Sarah I distrusted my body because I had gone through a difficult medical situation. I felt unfeminine and closed up.As we went through the program, I was taking A LOT of time away from school/teaching to work out, to go shopping, to have wine on my balcony with my husband, to daydream, to nap. Since making those changes I have less anxiety, I feel more sexy and more confident. Not only have I noticed positive changes in my body but my husband and I are having much more fun!! There are more dates, more lingerie, less fighting and more adventure.

I was 100% committed to the self-care, but I was doing it to get my body and my femininity back, and I truly thought my work would have to suffer. The stories about women getting raises and doing better at their jobs as they went through a similar process seemed real, but for some reason I just didn’t think that would be my story. I could not have been more wrong!

I’m getting the most positive feedback I’ve ever gotten on my papers, my ideas are SO much more creative, and my teaching is, I think, much more fun & useful. I was worried about what I’d be doing this summer when the school year ended, but I’ve been offered an amazing research job at my DREAM non-profit that works on fighting sex trafficking, my school program awarded me research money to do my own work over the summer, AND just yesterday I was offered a job in Italy for July! It. is. insane. I was also accepted into my first international conference, which will be in November, in Puerto Rico.

Honestly, the program was 100% worth it simply for the changes I was feeling in my life and my marriage — but now I realize those happy effects spilled over in amazing ways into my productivity JUST LIKE YOU SAID IT WOULD!

Definitely work with Sarah!! It is worth every penny, and much more. She is great!

  • Sarah has helped me become much more mindful of my eating practices. I’m learning to eat without distractions and am only eating only the best foods available. Overall I’m seeing a huge difference in my life.

I’ve come to realize that so much can happen just by sending out those positive vibes into the world.

Last summer, while I was working with Sarah, I got my dream job. It is not only giving me a chance to grow and develop in my field, but it is also allowing me to finally feel financially stable. I just returned from a trip to London, Scotland, and Ireland. Something I never dreamed possible before landing this new job.

  • Weight-wise, I have been thin and I have been heavy. I know what the emotional roller coaster is like with food because I've lived it for 2 decades. It's taken me a long time for me to finally have the control over food instead of food controlling my life, and I'm grateful for that. I've worked very hard to get to where I currently am.

My favorite parts of LMWL are the Body and Career modules. For years I hated my body and now I love it (even though it's not model perfect) and this is a subject I know I can help women with. And Career, because I'm an entrepreneur at heart. And just like the weight, I've had my ups and downs with my career- from working a corporate job to becoming an entrepreneur (which has been the most rewarding thing I've ever done).

  • I have been an intuitive eater before participating in this program, but I never did it without distractions. I learned that is really the key to tuning in. When I really honor my body and eat without distractions I have discovered that I’m not really all that hungry. I’m getting out more and saying yes to things I didn’t really used to.

I am spending far less time staring at the computer screen and more time putting life back into my life.

I live less than 10 minutes from the beach. When I started this program I went about 2-3 time a year. I love the beach. Why wasn’t I going? I’ve been going once a week ever since I’ve enrolled in Live More Weigh Less, sometimes just for a few minutes but it’s a nice break in the day.

  • I have recognized how much kinder I need to be to myself, and how many rules I had started to assign to my life. I am having much more fun. This program has opened my eyes; I’ve started thinking more about the dynamics of my relationships, and am trying to shift that paradigm.

I have no idea how much weight I have lost, but I have definitely gone down a full size. My sex life is definitely better, and I am happier when I exercise, because I stopped doing things I hate!
Because of Live More Weigh Less I’m discovering the importance of friendships in my life and I am trying to go on at least one friend date a week.

I’ve also started a swap with another SAHM for some “me” time during the week, and I’ve just had my very first massage! It was absolutely amazing!

  • Before Live More Weigh Less I knew I needed to grab hold of my emotional eating and move towards a healthier relationship with food. I loved every module and its content but during one of the modules I was forced to look at why I was so afraid of my body and being a woman. After Live More Weigh Less, not only am I feeling lighter in my body, but I am also more conscious about how she is feeling. I am eating so much less and my sense of self-worth has improved tremendously. I catch myself smiling more and saying YES to life now! I am so much happier and more comfortable in my body!

  • I have a WHOLE NEW LIFE because of Sarah. I wake up and I think I’m beautiful and in my darker moments I’m able to see it as an opportunity to make my life more wonderful. I look at pictures from my engagement and see how tightly my fiance and I are holding each other, and not how big I think my arms or thighs look. I know without a shadow of a doubt I will LOVE the way I look on my wedding day because of her. I look forward to every event in my life and I know I won’t be bothered by the pettiness of how skinny or fat I look anymore. I’ll be ENJOYING MY LIFE! And by doing so my body will take care of itself.

  • "Since enrolling in Live More Weigh Less and integrating the tools and teachings from the program things have really started to shift for me. Overall I’m feeling a lot less anxious and stressed. The food and TV binges as a means to cope with things in my life are a lot fewer and far between. I’ve been sleeping so much better and am so much happier throughout the day.

The way I think about myself and my time has changed drastically - I am important and worth scheduling things that are fun and relaxing for me. The fun module in the program brought on some major changes in my way of thinking and behaving. I no longer reserve my fun time just for the weekends; I love planning and coming up with new ideas to add in throughout the week.

I have visited local museums, taken dance classes, scheduled time at the spa for massages, pedicures and manicures, gone for walks in nature, sat at cafes to read, and bought myself small gifts that I would have normally passed up.

As a therapist I know how vitale self-care is to our overall well-being but before Live More Weigh Less I was putting it off and overloading my schedule with other obligations which lead to binging on food, tv and sleep (usually in that order). I was quickly getting burnt out and couldn’t pinpoint why. This program has really helped bring awareness to these cycles and has been instrumental in helping me create and maintain a schedule that’s no longer exhausting and filled with things that don’t bring me pleasure, instead I’m prioritizing having more fun and taking care of myself just as I do any other obligations I may have.

Since starting the program, I have made big changes in my career and took risks to reach my aspirations. I have been making more friends and moving my body more through a group class gym that I love. I have also been purposely carving out self-care/fun time just for me.

Live More Weigh Less is so relatable! It is a welcoming and safe place for women to address all kinds of women's issues to be the best versions of themselves. If you’re on the fence about joining, do it. You won't regret it. It is worth it and such a huge help and support system for us as women addressing the tough stuff we don’t always like to talk about. It will change your perspective and how you approach life."

  • I was worried that being in Australia wouldn't allow me to make the coaching calls but the teleseminar solved that. I was also worried that the feeling Sarah’s 28-day challenge was giving me would be fleeting. But it wasn't! I am happy and smile sometimes when I simply realize that. I focus on fun and treat myself so nicely now. I make a huge occasion out of every shower and meal and bedtime and I am happy meeting my friends out. I have bought new clothes including the first dresses since I was 9 years old. I feel feminine and lucky and my work is much more bearable. I really take care of myself and love myself and my body. My weight? That is fixing itself now, I'm not worried about it anymore. I'm eating better and not kicking myself when I treat myself. I'm so much happier. I've had a makeover and a haircut and have a gratitude journal that is so easy to fill in every night. I have a reading list and a research list and my future looks full, not empty. I think the world would be a better place if every woman thought with the LWML attitude, regardless of their body type. It will awaken you, make you shine, make you vulnerable and more patient and give your life fire again. I am a living example of someone who's life has changed and would tell them to go for it. Sarah, thank you from the bottom of my heart. P.s. I also hear Sarah in my head saying “Ah-mazing” and every time I do, I smile and thank God I found this program.

  • During one of our group coaching calls, I mentioned that I had a month-long paid sabbatical coming up and Sarah was so excited for me and told me to start planning. Well, I hesitated and kinda went back and forth between going to California or Portland for a month and just bumming around. What I secretly wanted to do was go to Paris, but I was afraid to travel alone. I had originally started planning the Paris trip a year ago, but just stopped thinking about it. I didn’t want to go alone, be the “fat” girl on the plane and at the sites, etc. But then, I received a call from my aunt asking me to meet her in Paris and travel to her house in the south of France. I decided, what the hell. It’s meant to be. And so in 5 days, I had:
    Applied for an expedited passport
Received a bonus and raise from work (allowing me to afford the trip)
Paid for the hotel and plane tickets
Received a ton of well wishes from friends
And…told my mother NO when she insisted I travel with a group tour instead of exploring by myselfIt was a whirlwind of excitement and I knew the Universe was sending this experience my way. I know that I am open to receiving all of this because of the things I am still learning about myself…and the catalyst for all of it is LMWL.
I traveled in Paris for 11 days and then the South of France for another 11. Can you believe it? Who gets this kind of opportunity? Well, I am learning…ME! When we start to care for ourselves, the sky is the limit.

Thanks for creating this program and I look forward to round 2 in October!

  • I have made my life fun and exciting in a way that allows me to love myself instead of hating myself for perceived failures only seen by me. I never realized how often I was negative about myself and about other people. My body feels so much better and I’m so much happier with everything in my life.

I was recently in Alabama visiting my best friend and she commented on how I am the most together person she knows. This was a huge breakthrough for me, considering that just three months ago I was crying my way to work every morning I was excited to get that feedback.

I’m not focused on my weight anymore. In fact, I just got back from vacation in the south and part of my adventure was to indulge myself in the delicious, deep-fried, down-home cooking. Now that I’m home I’m back on track and accept that it will take some time to feel my best again.

I’m not dating a whole lot yet but I am flirting way more and engaging so much more with the men around me. On my vacation I spent a couple days in Nashville by myself. One night I was out listening to the amazing music and I talked and danced with different guys all night and didn’t buy a single one of my drinks all night. I am so much happier in my job and in my life. I feel like myself again.

This program is amazing. I am so grateful I discovered Live More Weigh Less when I did, This discovery seems to have made everything in my life line up to make this all possible. I’ve found myself again, and it’s amazing.

  • I have always struggled with body image and my life was feeling pretty drab. Sarah’s 30-day challenge really opened my eyes and I felt a shift so the (LMWL) Mastery just felt like the next step. (The program has taught me to) have a deep love and appreciation for my body that I did not have before. I have become more spiritual and more aware of what I am putting into my body. I have not lost any weight but I am feeling the shift more and more each day. I am having fun every day, really learning how to embrace my femininity, really indulge and treat myself when I eat foods that are not the most healthy for me. I focus on the "feel beautiful in 45 minutes" quote and I am finding that it is really helping me. (LMWL) is a program about embracing the life you have or learning how to make healthy changes if you are not happy which will then change the way you eat and your weight. It is not about changing everything just to stare at the scale each day and watch your weight go down. It is crazy how much that number on the scale can change your mood, your day & how you treat others. This program is not about the scale and I absolutely love that. It has changed the way that I view weight loss and has gotten me to make a conscious effort every day to improve my life and my happiness. That, in and of itself, is a reason for me to recommend it.

  • When I first started my goal was to lose 15 pounds. After a few months I completely forgot about my goal and just concentrated on my relationship to food and my approach to eating. I was never the type to get on a scale…ever. But I was at the doctors office last week and they always make me get on the scale. When the number appeared and I asked what I had weighed in at last year I discovered I had lost 15 pounds. I was amazed. I had lost 15 pounds by practicing some very simple strategies Sarah and I had worked on such as only eating when you are hungry, trying to stop when you are no longer hungry, and giving your body what it really wants to eat. I was excited to have lost 15 pounds, but honestly, I cared so much less than I thought I would! I’ve made so many amazing changes in my life, including the way I approach food and relate to my body, that the weight didn’t matter so much anymore.

  • I felt like I had a big lightbulb go off as I was in my car listening to the final session in the body module. I realized my weight protects me from showing the world my greatness, that light in me that has so much power and potential. I think my weight lets me hide from the world my power, AND the possibility that I may fail if I try to let it shine. Not sure exactly what to do about it yet, but I wanted to share this realization I had today that feels important in this work.

    LEANN D.

  • I have finally started my life! This program has given me the courage to really put myself out there from a friend perspective. I’m making new friends and accepting social invitations far more than I ever have, something I was missing but didn’t realize until this program.

Live More Weigh Less has showed me how important it is to take time out for myself every morning, feed my body what she needs and to partake in some form of movement with my body every day.

This is such an amazing program – thank you! I have a six year old daughter and I hope that I can continue to model this behavior for her!

  • I signed up for Live More Weigh Less because I knew it was time to face the “stuff” I was stuffing down with food. I’ve lost about five pounds, but I FEEL so freaking much lighter!I’m really paying attention to what I eat — both during and after the meal, checking in with how I feel — and I’m letting more pleasure seep into my everyday existence. It isn’t all work work work, then have some ice cream — it’s a much more gentle, soft, and abundant experience of enjoying my shower, my music, my massage, my make-up, AND my food. The most profound takeaway for me was understanding that when I was looking to food, I was REALLY craving something else entirely. I learned to stop eating like a shitbag with that one simple question: how will I feel in an hour? It takes all the concerns about calories and diet away and REALLY makes me check in with my body.

Without LMWL, I would still be measuring, weighing, and despising food.

  • I have learned to appreciate my body and listen to her more.

I have learned so much more about myself and what I can do and realize that weight is not just about food it has to do with all the missing pieces in your life.
Because of this program I was able to make a decision with my career that I am absolutely thrilled about. If I had not done this program I would have probably chosen another career just for the money and never would have considered my happiness. I have also really started to take care of myself more; I make sure I put on makeup and buy clothes that really fit my body that I love. I take my time to get ready in the morning which helps me prepare and get a great mental space for the day!

Thanks so much for doing this Sarah I look forward to the next session! I have loved this and I will be redoing all of the modules again and again.

  • Before I met Sarah I felt trapped in my body. Every day I agonized about how awful and terrible I felt and looked. I had gained and lost the same 30 lbs so many times before. Here I was, 8 months before my wedding and I was miserable. I had dreamed about this day for many, many years and I couldn’t get excited. I put off trying on wedding dresses because I was terrified that I wouldn’t love myself and wouldn’t like the person staring back in the mirror.

After reading one of Sarah’s articles in The Huffington Post, I decided to apply for her private coaching program.

Then, about 6 weeks before my wedding. I was feeling lots of pressure to look a certain way and was losing touch with my purpose. Sarah helped me realize that I had to appreciate where I was that day and accept my body as is. Once I did that, weight actually started coming off. I haven’t weighed myself since March and I love when people ask how much I have lost…I answer “I don’t know but I feel great!”

I loved working with Sarah because her philosophy wasn’t about restricting my diet or going on a crazy exercise binge. Her simple task was to listen to my body…Something I truly didn’t know how to do. I’ll admit sometimes its still hard but when I finally check back in, she lets me know what I need. Sarah also helped me realize how my relationships with friends and family can affect my eating. I’m going to quote Sarah…”The food isn’t the problem, it’s the symptom of something bigger.” I always knew I hid my feelings behind food but I never realized how deep it really went. I learned to check in with my emotions and learned what actual hunger pains felt like…compared to “I’m so stressed and I just want to eat myself into an oblivion” feeling.

  • I’ve become so much more confident in my decision making ability and I’m adding a lot more fun to my life on a daily basis. I feel so much more connected to my life, body and to everyone I meet. It’s a very magical experience for me. I’m a work in progress, but I’m so thankful for this program.

I don’t know if I’ve lost weight on the scale, but I do know that I stand a little bit taller, prouder of who I am and who I am still becoming.
I take more time to appreciate each moment and cultivating my relationships with my girlfriends and my business has been instrumental.

Thanks so much to Sarah for such a beautiful, loving and gentle program. I felt so safe and it’s inspired me to keep on growing as a person.

    REYNA O.

  • Because of Live More Weigh Less I feel more confident in so many areas of my life. I went out and bought new clothes that actually fit my body and I have received so many compliments because of that. I had definitely become disconnected with spirituality and I have found that LMWL has helped me investigate that and to also deal with my anxiety in a more positive way.Although I don’t like aspects of my job, this program has helped me view it as a choice. I have been able to make requests to the principal at the school where I teach to make improvements to my schedule and workload to make the job and demands more enjoyable, I feel much less trapped by it.

I have lost weight throughout the program but more importantly, my husband and coworkers said I looked, “fresher,” more energized, and have a “healthy glow.” :)
When I get up early and meditate, I feel so much better, and although it is a struggle, I’m enjoying it.

The meditation also has helped me as I am going through IVF. At the start, I felt healthier and also am able to deal with the stress more and really feel positive regardless of the outcome. I feel more attractive and therefore have a better sex life with my husband (which really helps because IVF can make everything seem mechanical and sex can become off-putting).

Finally, eating without distractions has been the biggest and most helpful change and is now a habit. I feel like I can eat anything I want, but I have to really sit down with a plate and fork at the table and it is an amazing difference. Even my 3 year old daughter now says, ” We should eat without watching TV. We need to eat as a family.” :)

  • I found LMWL in early 2015 and it really hit the nail on the head for me. I was lighter because I was happier. Instead of spending my nights in a dark pub drinking beer or on the couch with take-out, I was getting active in my community, meeting new people, volunteering my time, trying new activities, walking everywhere in Boston where I live and work - basically, living my life. I've never been happier.

  • Sarah is open, understanding, and one of us. She is not afraid to be proud and up front about who she is, and that inspires others to do the same. One of her phrases that has stuck with me was something along the lines of… ‘you would never tolerate a friend who called you fat all the time, so why do you tolerate it when you do it to yourself’. This thought has carried through to many aspects of my life. I would never put up with a friend who told me I wasn’t good enough at my job, or couldn’t find love, or would never be able to build my own business, so why would I say those things to myself?

  • I am so much happier since completing Live More Weigh Less. I’ve learned to control my food anxiety when I am famished and I vacuum eat way less! I walk every morning when the sun comes up and then have a cup of GREAT coffee and slowly enjoy 4 chocolate covered roasted coffee beans from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. YUM! I spend at least an hour or so daily for personal reflection, reading something inspiring or supportive for my growth. Through this i have been able to create “space” in my day to allow time to show up for myself and raise my self-awareness more.

    I’ve also lost 10 pounds!
The online community for the group and the coaching calls really create a strong support system and connects everyone participating in the group.

When a friend just asked me last week to join her on a trip to Canada’s west coast, I jumped on it! I know LMWL helped me realize to take care of myself and the thought of going to the retreat left me really wanting a gal trip and the right one showed up for me!

  • I’ve also tried to incorporate more fun in my life. I haven’t weighed myself since I started the program. This is a really big deal because before this program I became pretty scale obsessed.

This program has helped me make a conscious effort to keep in mind the question, “How do I want to feel in 45 minutes?” That seems to help me. I pay attention to how food makes me feel and I’ve been journaling more consistently about my observations. I also can recognize when I’m emotionally eating and my binges have reduced.

This program is really awesome and I will can’t wait to participate in the next round!

  • I was worried that LMWL would be all about weight loss because I didn't need to lose weight. I needed to be reminded how to have FUN!! Having fun used to come naturally, but now with 4 little ones, I have to be very intentional about it and needed to learn how. LMWL gave me the freedom to eat mindfully and for energy, the freedom to love myself and be sexy. I have a better relationship with food; because I was feeling like I needed to eat clean and constantly guilt myself. I loved learning about feminine essence and energy; I now listen to that lovely inner voice. I am having more romance with my husband and enjoying my sexuality for me, not anyone else. I loved that LMWL gives you fun, amazing, loving things to implement into your life. LMWL is life changing. If you want a loving way to connect with your deeper self and grow in health, spirit, and mind, LMWL does that beautifully. Not to mention Sarah Jenks is amazing!! I absolutely loved the program and it was worth every penny. Thank you for living out your calling.

  • I’ve developed habits to help show my body that I love her, like body oils, massages, good soaps. i feel more secure in my decision to only work one day a week while building my business.I FEEL thinner and so much better throughout the day. I feel happier, and I feel like my relationship with my boyfriend has gotten better, in a subtle way because I just feel better in my skin.

My entire life feels as if it were enhanced because of this program, I can’t quite pinpoint it, but I feel a little more empowered and less alone.

LMWL was so energetic. I felt connected to everyone, I saw myself in so many of the other women, I was able to learn from and grow with them. This was such a huge learning experience for me, listening to Sarah and how she had an answer or suggestion for just about everyone. I really felt like I was part of something in this program and I felt like Sarah was my friend and mentor.

Sarah is a vessel to help us heal, but YOU have to do the work.

  • I am happier! I was able to recognize that I had some relationships which were sucking up enormous amounts of my time and energy. With your guidance, I was able to take a stand, put a stop to being called upon to be a fixer, and free up so much time and energy which I could focus on myself and my daughter. I am no longer a fixer and have developed much more fulfilling relationships. It doesn't just tackle the weight issue, but the underlying issues -so many of which I didn't even realize I was dealing with. Rather than punishing yourself (or deprivation, ...), this program focuses on nurturing your body and soul. What could be better than that?

  • I don't hate my body anymore!! We are still learning to love one another. So much more room to grow and accept her as she is. But wow what a shift. When I see myself in the mirror my first thought isn't always negative. And if it is, I have tools to shift now! Soul tools which I am so grateful to Sarah for. This material. This program. These women. Wow. Just feels like home. I think I've dropped some weight. Not sure to be truthful because I haven't gotten on the scale since signing up!!

  • My attitude toward myself is really the biggest change. I really appreciate my body and hope she forgives me for what I've put her through. I think this has shown, I can see and feel that people I've known for years are reacting to me differently. I've taken huge steps (consciously) to compliment other women when I think they look pretty or for rockin a sexy outfit. It's now a habit, I notice things and comment on them all the time.

I started the program because I wanted to be in a relationship. There have been ups and downs on this path. I've dated throughout the program, but in the last few weeks, I've met someone that I actually wanted to have sex with, and did. Not because of any pressure from him and I certainly didn't feel bad about it. I have had so many body issues that I haven't wanted to be naked in front of a man, so this was amazing progress. We actually laid together naked for an hour and he asked me if I was comfortable, and I surprised myself by saying yes. And I really was. I realized that I am enough.

Lastly, I have lost weight on this program. I find it interesting that this was not my obsession throughout, it just was a side effect of living my life and paying attention to my body. I lost almost 20 pounds in eight weeks. When I started the program it was my only goal, but what progress I've made in my own head and my own body... I truly feel amazing.

  • For me, it's a huge difference from other programs. This one is about teaching you to love yourself and your body and forgiveness. Other programs generally are all about pressure to workout and eat a certain way. This one is about finding that balance for yourself and what works best for you. It's gentle, but also forces you to really confront the reasons behind why you turn to food or hate your body.

    ROBYN C.

  • The big difference now is that I'm not self-conscious or having panic attacks about my appearance or my weight or how I “fit in”. I am happier. I am doing more things for me on a regular basis. I have my confidence back. I feel sexier! I’m not perfect, but definitely leaps and bounds better than where I was.

  • I was struggling in my work, with love, my body, and my relationship with food. I had just made the decision to start taking action to change my life from one where I was surviving, to one where I was making the conscious choice to live. I knew this program could help me not only with the food stuff but with having more fun and enjoying my life more. I wanted to take better care of myself on a daily basis, pay more attention to what I wear and eat, listen to my body more and have more fun. The program definitely helped me to lose weight, have a better relationship with food, love my body and self more, have more fun, make life prettier and helped me make a career shift. LMWL is worth the time and money. It will change your entire mentality and habits around food. Sarah shows you how to stop hating on yourself and your food and how to develop a positive relationship with both. The tools she gives are not only food related but life related. Expect to make impactful changes to every area of your life.

  • All of the pure body changes (so far!) have come from conscious eating without distraction – where I can confidently rate myself a 10! I eat SO much less now that I really pay attention to feelings of hunger and satisfaction, but I never, ever have felt deprived or told myself I can’t eat something that my body wants. Mind blowing.

My life is so much fuller. I used to complain that when people asked me what was new, I felt like all I could say was, “I work. A lot.” Now I have so many exciting things to share (including this program!) with people that they may be sorry they asked :). I’ve gotten back into yoga, which I missed so much. I’ve done an entire tasting menu at a sushi restaurant where the chef picked everything. I’ve added pampering into my every day. I’m working on beautifying all my spaces. I’m figuring out how to find a few extra bucks to hire a cleaning lady so I can stop stressing about deep cleaning my house. I buy fresh flowers every week for my bedside table. I see signs EVERYWHERE that tell me I’m on the right path. I am noodling on a new career that plays to my strengths, the things people come to me for all the time, the things that come easily to me. I could go on and on. I think the best thing is I’ve fallen in love and lust with my man all over again, and have tried to restore feminine/masculine balance and let him take care of me a little more. That’s really what he wants, and I find it unbelievably attractive. Yay!

  • LMWL encompassed so much more aspects of life than other programs; it took into consideration fun, love, career, spirituality, etc. I am definitely having more fun, I am eating better for the most part and I am happier and feeling so much better about myself. I am working on finding my sexy and started taking burlesque dancing classes! I am getting out more and LIVING. I realized that I needed more work/life balance and have been making changes to accomplish this; although I don't know if I've lost any weight, my clothes are fitting better which I believe is due to a renewed commitment to moving my body and pushing myself when I don't feel like working out. I am treating myself better, getting more pampering in my life and enjoying life more; I'm participating in it as opposed to sitting on the sidelines watching it pass me by. My clothes are fitting better and I have bought some new clothes that make me feel better about myself. I would recommend LMWL because the program addresses the reasons people use food to fill voids in their life. It is a journey with yourself that goes far beyond the actual course time. It is about creating a beautiful life and a body you love, it is about getting out of your own way and finding out why you keep having roadblocks while trying to lose weight. It is about living TODAY and not waiting to live until you lose the weight. The course helped me so much with that and with my relationship with myself. It is an investment in yourself for the rest of your life. It will give you the tools to design the life you want. The program was definitely life changing. I would not measure its success by the amount of weight lost but by the personal growth I have had throughout the program and will continue to have for years to come. I have made so many changes and while I believe the weight loss will come as I continue to make positive changes in my life and in my thoughts and beliefs, the gains have already been realized. Thank you for making such an impact in my life and helping me to create a beautiful life.

  • When I first started my program with Sarah, I had already done a lot of work — a lot of therapy, a lot of coaching, and even an inpatient rehab-stint at one point. I had done everything possible to “get over my food issues,” but I still didn’t feel like I had the answer – like I wasn’t fully fixed. Thus, I was indefinitely on the search for “the cure” to emotional eating and I was convinced I couldn’t go after what I really wanted in life until this mythical “fixed” thing actually happened to me.

Talk about Waiting on the Weight! I totally held myself back – from dating hot guys, from enjoying cool clothes, and most of all, from sharing my experience with women suffering far more than I was – women who would one day ask me to be their coach.
Working with Sarah, I finally started taking action in both my personal and professional life. I started moving towards what I really wanted, regardless of my current weight, or what I thought my life “should” look like before coaching / dating / you-name-it.

Last month I launched my first professional website, and booked three initial consultations within 4 hours of my launch. I am totally indebted to Sarah for her guidance in this venture, and for getting me clear that life comes first — the weight is what follows.

  • Before working with Sarah I had a great dislike for my body. I hated it so much and so I treated it like crap: bad clothes, bad food, the works. I even thought people didn’t like me because of my body.

I decided to work with Sarah because I wanted to lose the weight but I knew that other things had to change as well. I was smart enough to realize eating a Big Mac wasn’t going to help me lose weight but I would continue to eat it anyway. I wanted someone to help me get to the reasons behind why I still ate. Speaking to Sarah about emotional eating helped me to understand.

Now I am making a lot more time for myself. I thought if I did everything for everyone it would make me happy. I have learnt that putting myself first isn’t selfish; it’s necessary. Changes have occurred in all areas of my life. My clothes are heaps looser and my face has slimmed down a lot. Yay!! I am more relaxed and I have changed my outlook. I have realised that in order for positive change to occur I must be open to them.

Anyone considering working with Sarah should just do it!! The diets will never work unless you get to the real reasons why you eat.

  • Throughout Live More Weigh Less I have lost weight, but the big key here is that my obsession with what I eat has nearly disappeared. I have been opened up through my participation in this program. LMWL has left me feeling free and capable of making the changes I want to make in my life including how I interact with others, with the world and with myself. I feel hope again. I am no longer spending so much of my life worrying about what I do or do not eat!!! I feel free!!!

The community of supportive women in this program goes unmatched to any other program I have participated in.
I honestly believe that I cannot be stopped!!! Thanks Sarah…for everything…you have become so special to me!!

  • I used to turn to food for comfort when things were very hard and when my kids were at their dad’s. I also had this feeling that I was always wrong, bad, not doing enough or couldn’t trust my own instincts about myself and my life.Sarah’s coaching was very right-on. She has great instincts for what is going on with people and what they need. I felt she went to the heart of the matter with each and every woman, in a way she could understand. Sarah’s advice to me around writing was extremely grounding and anchoring. I was so impressed that she honed right in on what I needed.

  • When I initially signed up for coaching with Sarah. I was eager to get started immediately. Fed up with my body, my mind, and my continuous battles with food, I was determined to never diet again and feel great about my body but had not a clue where to start. Before starting sessions with SarahI went through her entire Live More Weigh Less program in just a couple weeks. I was hooked. I listened to the modules over and over, took notes, listened in my car, on my couch, before I went to bed. Nearly every time I listened I learned something new. Most surprising to me was how little Sarah actually talked about the actual “food” problem I thought I had. When I started to learn that I didn’t have a weight or an eating problem but rather a “stress” problem, everything seemed to click. Through LMWL and her amazing coaching Sarah has taught me just how important it is to have fun right now, to do more right now, and to stop holding off buying that dress when I am finally the “right” size.

LMWL started a new and exciting life for me. With assignments such as go shopping, plan a vacation, or add more pleasure in your life, how can you not love the program?

The instant I started listening to LMWL I felt an instant connection with Sarah. Sure she was talking to all the women in the program but I felt like she was talking exclusively to a group of her closest friends. She is real, honest, and full of knowledge. I would sincerely recommend LMWL to any woman wanting to ditch the diets altogether and make life a total blast!

  • I have previously worked with Sarah and knew what I would be missing if I DIDN’T sign up. I had been working with a counselor to help me push through some gloomy thoughts and feelings I had/have been dealing with and as much as I liked my counselor she wasn’t as action oriented as Sarah. Sarah always encourages you to get out there and take the first step whether it is related to food, exercise, relationships or work.

During this program I was able to figure out exactly what step I needed to take for where I was in my life.
I am finally discovering who I am and learning to treat myself with more love and respect. I realized how dismissive I have been about my feelings over the years and as a result placed my needs too far behind others. I am working hard on my relationship with Dave as I now know that how I feel about us is tangled up with how I feel about myself.

I am still laying the foundation (or rebuilding a long, neglected foundation) for a longer, healthier and I hope happier living. I am not sure why, but I think carrying Sarah’s wise words with me is a great comfort and source of strength. Sarah and the lessons of LMWL are helping me heal.

  • Let me get right down to it: I had serious issues with my breasts. Having gained and lost weight so many times in my life, my boobs had begun to look like those belonging to a 65 year old woman. Sarah had me understand that, energetically speaking, anything lacking love, light, and attention will feel cold, ‘other’-like, and depleted. I was sent home with the assignment to send love to my chest. After just a few days, I noticed how my breasts began to feel fuller, perkier, and livelier. I splurged on some fabulous new, expertly fitted bras, and began wearing clothes that emphasized them more. My boyfriend even began touching them more. Sending my boobs love is now part of my daily love practice. I’m beautiful as I am. I am the Boob Whisperer.

  • Sarah’s dedication to the client is what I enjoy most about working with her. When we’ve had sessions, I have felt like she was with me, in my corner, on my team. That her investment in me was genuine and passionate. That she was going to be with me even if we didn’t find an answer right away.

    JULIE N.

  • I was struggling and trying to get back to my center. I felt completely out of whack and quite simply, needed help. It's not easy to ask for help...but that's where I was. Through LMWL, I saw a greater focus on the conversation I was having with myself. I paid more attention to the fine details of when I ate and why. When I first read about LMWL, I wondered "is this just another scam?" But I got over it. I lost about 5 lbs. during the course of the program. What I learned was greater clarity, more focus and a way to develop more of my whole self. The module on love was my favorite; I cried as listened to it more than once because it really hit home for me. I am divorced and have had a really, really hard time getting back into a healthy, happy relationship. The LMWL program is comprehensive, using a variety of teaching and learning tools. As a Certified Health Education Specialist, I know that behavior change is very, very hard. Sarah is genuine and I feel like she's a friend that I could enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine with and talk about life in really meaningful, fun ways.

  • I was hesitant about spending money on yet another program and failing again. I was binge eating and not knowing how to stop. Like many women, I’d gain and lose the same 20 pounds. I was unhappy with my body and feeling like I was constantly letting myself down. LMWL is different because it focuses on happiness and real-life tools that no other programs have. It offers the spiritual and self-love aspect without being too "woo woo". The first change I made was during the Fun Module. I started to get dressed and do my hair and makeup most days. I'm a stay-at-home-Mom so that was huge for me. Friends asked "What are you up to?" They could tell I was making an effort! I got some new clothes that fit too. This change really helped me feel so much better about myself. Even if my body wasn't the size I would like her to be, I was treating her with love and respect. Binge eating is no longer a problem for me. Through LMWL I learned that I wasn't broken, I didn't have flaws that made me not good enough. I now feel whole, and I don't need food to numb negative emotions. *STRIKE THIS While binging and overeating is still a big problem, I am practicing patience in this area***. The Spirit Module was my favorite. I am excited to dive in to it more and expand my meditation practice, I know first hand that self guided meditation has power. I used hypnobirthing while delivering my first born and the nurses said they couldn't even tell when I a having a major contraction. Meditation works!

  • It is hard to pick just one topic [that was my favorite from the LMWL program], but for me the most life-changing concept was: “Don’t wait until you feel like it.” (So much that I painted it on my wall!) Once I peeled away my need to wait on the weight, I discovered a ton of things I was also waiting on…waiting to have more money, waiting for my relationship to improve, waiting until I was more stable, waiting for things to be easier, waiting for a perfect time, etc. Instead of doing, I just kept dreaming of a day where I would wake up and (as if by magic) suddenly feel like… going to yoga, wearing a dress instead of sweatpants, having a dinner party instead of pinteresting dinner parties. I was expecting there to be a point where life felt effortless without me having to do anything. It seems so obvious, but it took LMWL to make me realize that I was never going to feel like it (“future me” would never feel like it), I just had to do it and there wasn’t going to be an easier time than now.

  • I was reluctant to spend the money and to divulge information that I felt was private, personal and secretive. But I needed help to stop using food as a band-aid for facing problems or confronting feelings. I discovered that LMWL is life-changing, to say the least. You'll dive in pretty deep, but there's always a chance to come up for air. I'm happier, for one. I'm still a work in progress when it comes to eating when I'm not really hungry though. I'm jumping into more opportunities - taking classes I never would have before, meeting with new LMWL girlfriends in the area and choosing which things take priority over others, instead of saying yes to everything. Weight Watchers is the only other "program" that I've been on. With LMWL, you feel like YOU matter; whereas, with WW, you're just another number in the group. LMWL gave me a great network of like-minded women with the same goals in mind. It's powerful, supportive and fun. Besides overcoming physical and emotional demons, you'll make new friends and have a new structure for your life going forward. Thank you for allowing future access to the workshops and modules, as I'm sure I'll refer back to them often!

  • Before working with Sarah I was a yoyo dieter. I was convinced that I would be happy only when I reached a certain weight. I focused on what I didn’t have and I put my body down a lot. As I learned from Sarah, if my body and I were in a relationship (which obviously we are; one of the closest of them all) then my body would probably demand a divorce due to all of the mean things that I say to it.

The biggest change has been my new-found awareness; for things I am doing, have done, and will continue to do. Without Sarah and her advice I think that I may have gone through my life in an unaware and disconnected state.

When I worked with Sarah before my wedding I lost about 15 pounds. I felt great, clothes fitted and my face was slimmer. When I look at my wedding pictures and see my cheekbones (that I never knew I could have!), I instantly have the biggest smile on my face.

Talking to Sarah about emotional eating helped me get to the core of my feelings and understand what I have felt for years without really knowing it. Sarah taught me to be my own #1 body fan!
Changes occurred in all areas of my life. Now everything seems to melt. My relationship with my husband is so open. We were always good communicators but Sarah taught me about what I specifically need to make sure that I am communicating, without assuming that it was or was not going to happen. Stress in my career will always be there but I am so much better equipped to deal with it; I am more even prepared for what comes my way. My energy level is amazing. It is so powerful to tap into your own energy using Sarah’s techniques.

If you’re considering working with Sarah, um duh, just do it!

  • I was hesitant to join because of the cost of the program and the fear of completely failing, the fear of change and facing my shit. I needed a change in my life, I wanted to live MORE! I needed a kick in the ass and thought this would help. Do I still want to lose weight? Yes. Am I still afraid to date? Yup. But I am taking the steps to change and to make my life better. This is not a quick fix and that is what Sarah taught me. Thank you for giving me the tools to move on. I think my attitude is much better. I got rid of all the clothes that did not fit right/make me uncomfortable and was completely okay with it. I found a couple forms of exercise that does not make me feel crazy thinking about all the weight I need to lose the whole time. I am on a road now with directions on how to get there. I am taking time to make myself look good each day. Lot more of embracing the curves I have now. I recommend LMWL to others and reminding them they need to be ready to face their shit before they sign up! And, do not let the price scare you away! Sarah is more than worth it. She gives you the tools to start the self love and make the changes needed to get your life back on track. Sarah, thank you! My path is long but you kicked my butt in the shape to make it happen. You helped me be a better friend, a better person, give myself the love I need and so much more. I cannot thank you enough!

  • Finding Sarah was one of the best things that ever happened to me. She helped me realize that my biggest challenge was my biggest opportunity, and that it was actually also my greatest gift. Sarah helped me find the courage to relaunch my nutrition business so that I could start to live my purpose. An unexpected bonus of working with her was the positive impact it had on my relationship with my boyfriend — until then, I hadn’t realized that I was not only self-sabotaging myself, but that I was doing the same thing to my relationship. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone who wants to live more and weigh less.

  • I’ve been taking time for myself and really enjoying it. Adding pleasure to my life. Buying and wearing dresses!

I still have a ways to go but I am on the right track. I didn’t lose any weight but that wasn’t the purpose – I enrolled in this program because I just wanted to be happier. I actually lost 50 lbs over 3 years ago and have managed to keep it off, but the happiness was still missing from my life – even after the pounds went missing. I’ve also learned that when I indulge in something super delicious, I try and enjoy it as much as I can and don’t allow myself to feel guilty.

  • I signed up for LMWL because it was something different - something unlike I had ever tried before. I was so desperately trying to overcome 25 years of binge eating, bulimia, low self esteem, exercise addiction and debilitating food prison. I didn't know what to expect, I just prayed that it would work. The price was my only hesitation, but I'm so glad I did it. I loved the program. I have never felt so much better. The first thing that I immediately notice about myself is that I no longer hate what I see in the mirror. This is huge for me, Sarah. I never thought I could feel this way. I know my body isn't perfect, but I no longer hate it. I have a sense of pride now that I didn't have before. I feel like I deserve nice things and I deserve to be happy. I don't need to wait to be skinny to be happy, to have fun, to be silly, to wear cool clothes, to wear high heels, to be sexy, and to do all the things that I used to think only skinny women did. I feel more confident in everything that I do now. Whether it's making a phone call that I dread making, to approaching a stranger. I just feel so much better in my own skin. Sarah, you have such a gift. I am so grateful for you. I will tell every woman I know about you. I've lost 10 lbs.without even thinking about it or trying. I'm very conscious now of when I'm hungry vs. when I need something else emotionally. I am able to "think the binge through" now rather than just attacking food like a shark tasting blood for the first time and then feeling so emotionally devastated afterward. I truly benefited from each and every Module. I felt like each one spoke to me in a different way and I needed so much to hear the information from each and every module. I also feel like you genuinely cared about each and everyone of us. I cannot say that about any diet book, diet program, doctor, therapist, or anyone else who is ever helped me in this journey. I would recommend LMWL even to somebody who did not have any weight to lose. It is truly empowering for women. It makes you look at your life a whole different way. As women, somewhere along the road we are taught to put ourselves last. You teach us that we deserve to move back up to the front of the line and that we deserve to be there AND that we deserve to look great there, too!

  • When I met Sarah, I was feeling completely insecure in my relationship, career and social life. I couldn’t imagine how I was going to feel confident walking down the aisle. But Sarah showed me how my own actions and behaviors could change the course of my relationship and my life. Now my husband and I are blissfully wed. I feel sexy, confident, desired and TRUSTING. I never would’ve gotten here without Sarah’s exceptional support and guidance.

  • LMWL was a game changer for me. I'm still working through the concepts, and I would say I will be for a long time, but when I signed up last year, I was so far away from the idea of being happy where I am now in my body, loving her and treating her with respect. It's still a work in progress but I'm much farther along in the journey of not only accepting but also loving my whole self.
I love the entire program. If forced to choose just one piece of it, I would say focusing on the "live more" side of the equation and learning how to have fun again. Dressing for yourself, getting glam just because you want to or maybe need to in order to boost yourself up, no matter where you are in your weight journey. I keep a red lipstick by my front entry mirror and sometimes I stop and put it on before I go out the door, thinking about Sarah's words and not being afraid to be seen.

  • Working with Sarah allowed me to look at health and wellness in a whole new way. While I had parts of the puzzle to having a healthy life, I couldn’t put them all together until I met Sarah. She made me realize that food was only a small part of the equation. To me, Living More and Weighing Less was about finding joy within myself, embracing spirituality, improving relationships, and treating myself better. Once that fell into place for me, I found I was capable of great things and it encouraged me to try harder, strive higher and truly enjoy life more. To top it all off, getting to know Sarah has been an amazing experience. She couldn’t be more caring about her clients and provides an incredible amount of support.

While this program led me on a personal journey, at no time did I ever feel alone. I knew Sarah was there with her kind encouragement.
Her energy is infectious and made me finally understand things I had struggled with for years. You will not be sorry if you decide to work with Sarah. It was a life changing experience for me!

  • Working with Sarah Jenks has changed my life. Period. As cliché as that may sound, it’s true. Before working with Sarah I was struggling with my weight, hating my body and ultimately myself. I have dealt with weight and body image issues practically my entire life, but in college it started to become especially bad. In order to deal with the stresses in my life I would turn to food, emotionally eating, to answer my problems. It was so out of hand that my anxiety eventually led me into an eating disorder. I was in a vicious cycle that I could not escape; I would feel so horrible and disgusted with myself, believing that all my problems would be solved if I simply lost weight. I would start a diet, lose some weight, have a “bad” day and then give up, gaining all the weight back, to simply start the cycle all over again.

I dealt with this for five years until I finally decided that I didn’t want to be miserable and in this state for the rest of my life. By chance I read about Sarah on a wedding blog and after all of the pieces fell into place I joined Sarah’s “Breathtaking Bride Booty Camp.” I didn’t care that I wasn’t a bride, I didn’t even have a boyfriend, all I wanted was to finally be happy and that is what Sarah’s philosophy guides you to, a path of self satisfaction. After ten weeks of the Bootcamp and one-on-one calls with Sarah I realized that because of my hectic workday I was using food as my only time to relax. With her guidance I was able to plan out other, healthier ways to unwind after a long day of work and graduate school. I was able to create an action plan of how to schedule work time but most importantly, play time, the key to success. There are no words to explain how much happier I feel with my life and more importantly with myself. I have the tools to deal with my stress and emotions so that I do not feel the need to turn to food and I now have a feeling of calm and peace with myself that I haven’t felt… ever.

  • I have less stress and anxiety in my life since enrolling in Live More Weigh Less. I’m having so much more fun and recognize the benefits of having fun rather than carrying the guilt we often take on for enjoying ourselves too much.

I see food so much differently. It’s hard to explain, but it’s not as big of an issue as it was 2 months ago. I’ve come out of my head and into my body. I took a trip to Vegas and I wasn’t tempted to eat or drink too much. I listened to my body and how I wanted to feel.
I’ve made efforts to listen to my body before, but it never worked. It works now because I have background and perspective about how to engage and tune into her. I also noticed how my friends were struggling with food. I was always too caught up in myself to realize that they were having the same struggles I was, even if they weigh less than I do. This realization has helped me to have compassion for them and also much more compassion for myself. I’ve always thought I was this crazy food monster, but if my friends are having the same issues maybe I’m just normal.

  • I have added Fun-activities in my life and I find myself searching for new ideas almost every day. I´m working towards achieving my painted picture every day.

This program has opened my eyes to find fun in the little things and experience all of the beautiful things in my life.
Finally :) I have improved my English skills, I actually enjoyed this writing (although it is difficult to answer these questions even in Estonian :)). Thank you for this pleasurable program and I´m looking forward to participating again next time!!! See you!

  • I came to an early conclusion that nothing worked when it came to losing weight. Diets, exercise, weight loss supplements and even hard core bootcamps did nothing but make me feel worse. I had accepted that I was going to be overweight and miserable for the rest of my life.

Then I met Sarah…and she turned my world upside down!
This woman blatantly told me that I COULD eat chocolate, wine and cheese AND lose weight. She showed me I COULD exercise how I wanted and the pounds would drop off. She explained to me that I COULD do whatever I wanted that made me feel good and that would be enough to tip the scales and my misery backwards. I thought this woman was crazy but in fact she’s genius because it all works! And now I’m actually able to enjoy my life and my body.

  • I signed up for LMWL because Sarah seemed real, and I felt like she understood my struggles. I think my relationship with food was spilling into all the other areas of my life, and I felt alone with these problems. LMWL has helped me become more forgiving and willing to put effort into making the changes that I want. Sarah made my problems seem less intimidating and has helped me listen to my intuition. I'm down a size in jeans without counting calories or being a slave to the gym. I never realized I'd be happier, eating less, more interested in dating, and getting more accomplished in general, just by adding fun to my life. I was definitely relying on food to be a source of fun. The Relationship Module was my favorite because it's the area where I struggle the most. I'm trying to get out more and let go of the outcome in dating, and work to create new and maintain current friendships, which is hard as an introvert. The program can help just about anyone feel more confident and empowered. LMWL made me realize I'm not alone! There were so many amazing women in this program, I wish I had found it earlier.

  • I was feeling tired of dieting and I wanted to have more fun. Thanks to LMWL, I am now making fun a priority everyday. I lost about 10lbs through the process! LMWL is different from other programs because it’s not a diet. My time in the program has been AMAZING. Anyone who joins the program will be done dieting and more importantly, learn to love life again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

  • When I signed up for Live More Weigh Less I was following a pretty strict diet and exercise regime but was traveling a lot and it was pretty hard to follow. When I slipped, I was totally eaten up by the guilt. The program has taught me to make choices that bring more pleasure into my life and to be nicer to my body. Since participating in this program I am much nicer to myself and when I look in the mirror I don’t feel like screaming or crying anymore.

  • Before working with Sarah I was consumed by anxiety filled thoughts, food obsessions, awful spending habits and a ‘get through it mentality’. Sarah has helped me to change all of this. Now I am a self-care maven. I’m an energy filled, thinner, happier, food loving, dancing, and
adventurous woman. Everything in my life went from eh to AHH-mazing. I did not find myself, Sarah truly helped me cultivate the woman I always knew I could be, but was too scared to be. I now understand the meaning of living in the moment. Sarah has led me to this beautiful way of living. I am forever grateful and cannot wait for more.

  • I find myself being much more present and aware when I eat, especially since I’m eating without distractions almost all of the time which is something I have NEVER done before.

The most valuable thing I discovered through this program is that I have been giving away my power to men since I was in kindergarten.

It was quite shocking to learn, to say the least. Now knowing this about myself, it’s going to be a key thing I work on going forward with dating and finding my soulmate. I can’t wait!

  • I knew my wedding photos would be up in my house my whole life and I didn’t want a permanent reminder of how terrible I felt about myself. Not only did I look amazing in my photos after working with Sarah, but we went WAY beyond weight loss. Not only did I lose 15 pounds, I have less anxiety, my life is so much more fun and most importantly my relationship with my husband is so much more passionate and supportive.

  • I love LMWL and know that the principles and ideas that Sarah shares throughout the program really work. When I apply them, I am happier and healthier. I value so many of the topics but I would say that my favorite is probably related to Love. I really like how Sarah frames masculine and feminine energy and familial love. As a mother and a wife -- and a daughter, sister and friend, I consider all the relationships in my life and try to do my best to show up as my best self. I really appreciate Sarah's examples on setting boundaries and giving ourselves love in order to be better models for others in our life. I have gained a lot in my relationship with my husband just by making small shifts to be more present and more caring.

  • I’m definitely aware that this is so much more than a quick fix program, and I truly feel that I’ll be re-working these sections from LMWL for months (years?) to come!! Practice makes perfect. The work in LMWL goes so incredibly deep (so far beyond weight loss) that I have a lot to absorb and integrate into my daily life. The first amazing shift was that I lost my desire to binge eat crappy sweet stuff almost immediately. Over the eight week program, I slipped up a couple of times into old eating habits (when I let stress take over), but I was able to quickly correct my direction and prepare healthy food again (which I absolutely prefer now). I started taking more care with my appearance, and chose some new clothes that suited my body and made me feel great. I got a great new haircut, and I made sure that I had adventures every week.

I had more fun in eight weeks than I’d had in years!
There are many small changes (like more muscle tone, feeling trimmer, looking and feeling so much healthier and happier) after LMWL, but the larger changes are at a deep level that only I’m aware of. Since taking LMWL, I feel like I have an entirely new relationship with my body. After years of feeling like I was “bad” for being overweight, it was truly amazing to be in an environment where love, self-acceptance and pleasure was the dominant focus. I gained such an appreciation for the wisdom of my body and how amazing my life is. During the eight weeks of LMWL, I had more fun and adventures than I’ve had in years. I treasure my friends, and I love the simple pleasures of preparing and eating healthy food. I started swimming again (which I love), and I feel stronger, healthier and happier than I did before. But the deepest change was in my heart and soul. After a lot of crappy stressful years of grief and turmoil (death of my parents, career stress, etc.), I needed the gentle, positive message of LMWL. I needed to learn how to love and care for myself again on a deep level. (Best purchase during the last eight weeks? Cozy pajamas in hot pink fleece!)
